Van idee tot eerste penseelstreek

Voordat het werk op het doek komt, ontstaat er een idee of beeld in mijn hoofd wat ik wil uitbeelden. Het kan een gevoel zijn of een gebeurtenis die mij raakt, maar ook een inspiratiebron die opgewekt is uit interesse of passie. Ik schets eerst met houtskool een paar lijnen: een opzet op een doek. Van daaruit werk ik laag voor laag met acrylverf.

Tijdens dit proces kunnen er nieuwe creaties ontstaan, waardoor het schilderij een heel eigen verhaal krijgt.

From idea to first brushstroke

Before a painting comes to life on canvas, an idea or visual forms in my mind. It can be a feeling, an event that moves me, or a spark of inspiration fueled by pure interest and passion.
I begin by sketching a few structural lines with charcoal, a raw layout directly on te canvas. Frome there, i work layer by layer using acrylic paint.
Throughout this process, new creative paths often unfold, giving the final painting a unique story of its own. 

Wat mijn werkwijze uniek maakt

Door te spelen met dikte, kleuren en textuur van de verf, bouw ik mijn schilderijen laag voor laag op. Dit geeft de werken diepte en zorgt ervoor dat de magie en de juiste emotie voledig tot hun recht komen.
Ik werk voornamelijk met hoogwaardige acrylverf en diverse mediums om de beste kwaliteit en uitstraling te garanderen.

What makes my process unique

By playing with the thickness, colors and overall texture of the paint, I build my artwork layer by layer. This gives the painthings an incredible depth and ensures that the magic and core emotion fully come to life.
I primary work with high-quality acrylic paints and various mediums to guarantee the finest archival quality and visual impact.

Ik werk graag samen met andere kunstenaars en vind het inspirerend om aan diverse projecten bij te dragen. Ook meedoen aan kunstwedstrijden geeft mij veel energie; het is een geweldigemanier om te leren van andere kunststijlen en technieken van medekunstenaars.
